World Logic Day 2026: Graphic Design Challenge

To celebrate World Logic Day 2026 (again on January 14), we are excited to announce the World Logic Day Graphic Design Challenge. Logic, traditionally seen as the domain of pure thought and reason, is notoriously difficult to visualize. Finding ways to express the most fundamental laws that govern the human process of reasoning without words and in pictures is a true challenge: we would love to see your attempts to overcome it.

The theme of World Logic Day 2026 will be "Logic & Diversity," and we would be particularly happy with submissions that focus on aspects that fit with the theme, e.g., the question of whether there is one true logic or several, the question of whether logical systems can be in conflict with each other, etc. We encourage creative interpretations, reflecting on how logic interacts with the rich tapestry of diverse cultures, perspectives, and ideas.

In order to participate in the WLD Graphic Design Challenge, please submit a one-page A4 file with a visualization of logic or a particular logical phenomenon that works with as few words as possible by June 30, 2025. You may accompany your graphic design with a brief verbal description of your design (at most 200 words).

Your designs will play a role in World Logic Day 2026 on January 14, 2026. Selected submissions will be included on the WLD website, exhibited in a special showcase, and the winner will be invited to a workshop in Europe (funding permitting).
